Production Note

Our Bacchus Reserve is crafted exclusively from hand-picked grapes grown in our vineyard in the Sussex countryside. The vineyard plot is situated in sandstone and clay soils and bathed in the English Summer daylight. It is one of the first few white varieties to ripen and helps us create this exceptional wine.

Bacchus Reserve, Lot: 324 is an exceptional wine, crafted by our talented Head Winemaker Deepika Koushik, Plumpton’s Head Winemaker, alongside the Plumpton team. It is the first wine to be created with a new advanced winemaking technique crafted by Vinalchemy. The technique was developed by Michael Pritchard MBE and aims to lengthen the finish of the wine, while extending its drinking window - keeping it fresher for longer.

Tasting Note

It is a complex and bright wine with aromas of dried apricots, honeysuckle and lime. It has uplifted acidity, with a creamy and lingering finish and is great on its own, or pairs beautifully with poultry, fish and Mediterranean-style dishes.
