ITC Emergency First Aid for Work Plus Forestry ( EFAW+F)
This ITC Level 3 Award in Emergency First Aid at Work is part of the Regulated Qualifications Framework (RQF). This qualification is regulated by Ofqual.
The syllabus includes all content from the 8 hour/1 day Emergency First Aid at Work course and includes additional subjects likely to be faced by first aiders working in a Forestry environment.
There are no entry requirements for this course.
Course timings 8:30-5:30

The core content covers the basic essentials required to provide emergency care to a patient including:
Understand the role and responsibilities of a first aider
Be able to assess an incident
Be able to provide first aid to an unresponsive casualty
Be able to provide first aid to a casualty who is choking
Be able to provide first aid to a casualty with external bleeding
Know how to provide first aid to a casualty who is suffering from shock
Know how to provide first aid to a casualty with minor injuries.
Successful candidates will be awarded a qualification in Emergency First Aid at Work / + F valid for 3 years and certificated by ITC

Ofqual-regulated qualifications have mandatory contact training time requirements, so learners must attend for the full duration of the course to successfully complete it. If you arrive more than 15 minutes late, leave early, or are absent for prolonged periods during the day, you will not be able to pass the course, and anyone arriving more than 15 minutes late will be turned away. Please also note that this course involves some close physical contact with other learners.
