(Animal Studies) BTEC Level 3 Year 2 Students resitting Year 1 Exams

External Assessment (Exam) Fees are paid to BTEC and are not kept by the college. They are non-refundable exam costs that must be paid before a learner can be registered for an exam.

For Level 3 exams, two resits are permitted for the year 1 exams (Biology, W&E) 

For YEAR 2 students, your third and final attempt will typically be in the Summer Series 2026. However, if you only had one attempt at either Biology or Welfare & Ethics in 2025, then you pay register for the exam in January 2026, which puts your third and final attempt in the Summer in line with the rest of the class.
